Die Einsamkeit des Einzelnen, der aber Gesellschaft dafür braucht. Ein Glas zum Anhalten. Der Alkohol zum Vertreiben von Angst, Trauer – oft bis zum Absturz. Oder auch nur geselliges Beisammensein. All das, dieser ganze Mix aus Einzelschicksalen und Kollektivem. Ein ständiges Nebeneinander, Miteinander, das dauernd abläuft. Das ist es, was mich so fasziniert und die Bilder zu diesem Zyklus entstehen ließ. Dieser Zyklus wurde nicht ausschließlich, aber größtenteils auf Papier gemalt.
The loneliness of an individual that needs the community to exist. A drinking glass to be save. Alcohol to escape fear and sorrow – sometimes facing the crash. On the other hand just simple Get Togethers.This is the challenge of personal kismet with society. What are your needs and spirits and what are you expected for – these are the questions that inspired me to this cycle. It’s painted mostly on paper.
